A Certification Body is an organization that audits, evaluates, certifies, verifies and validates, inspects, tests, or calibrates products, processes, or systems of an organization according to applicable standards or guideline requirements. Certification Bodies provide assurance to public and private sectors that the assessed organization complies with the relevant standards or guidelines.

Accreditation bodies can be recognized by IAAB GLA Recognition program through apply for GLA assessment, upon successful assessment and can become IAAB GLA signatory.
Accreditation bodies have to comply with national or international standards and with mandatory following IAAB guideline & Standards in order to become IAAB GLA Signatory:
IAAB GLA logo can be used by accreditation body which is GLA signatory for the approved above guidance / standards. AB’s can also use IAAB GLA Logo in their Visiting Cards, online profile and AB’s can authorised to use of IAAB GLA Logo to accredited personal and Certification body with signed agreement.
IAAB maintains its database for Accreditation body for Recognition & global Acceptance. Certification bodies & stakeholder can review the approval status of the Accreditation body. Accreditation body can use link in public profile, training material & their website.
